MSSA is CEFRI-E certified to carry out interventions in a nuclear environment in respecting with radioprotection regulation.
Nuclear skills
MSSA teams are skilled and trained to work in the nuclear field. Thanks to its CEFRI-E certification sanctioned by French authorities, MSSA is able to manage radiation risks and ensures its teams work under safe conditions.
MSSA has previously and successfully used its skills of engineering, dismantling, training, inspection and commissioning for customers in the nuclear industry.
Nuclear plant dismantling
Several projects consisted of providing an on-site service with nuclear skilled personnel, but also to support our customers for decontamination strategies from feasibility studies to turn-key solutions.
MSSA has managed dismantling projects in France for EDF and the CEA.
For one project (see reference below), MSSA developed a specific container to transport radioactive sodium. This container designed by MSSA is the only model of its type in the world.

For new fast breeder reactors, MSSA can supply R grade sodium (nuclear grade). Beside sodium delivery, MSSA can provide a global assistance solution for:
